බදුල්ල, පස්සර පොලිස් ස්ථානයේ විවිධ පැමිණිලි විමර්ශන අංශය තුළදී පොලිස් සැරයන්වරුන් දෙදෙනෙකු අතර ඇති වූ ගැටුමකින් එක් අයෙකු තුවාල ලබා බදුල්ල මහ රෝහලට ඇතුළත් කර ඇත. පසුගිය 04 වනදා මෙම සිදුවීම වාර්තා වී ඇති අතර, කිසියම් කරුණක් මුල් කරගනිමින් ඇති වූ බහින්බස් වීමක් දුරදිග යාමෙන් මෙම ගුටි බැට හුවමාරුව සිදුව ඇත. පහරදීම හේතුවෙන් එක් සැරයන්වරයෙකුගේ නාසයට හානි සිදු වී දැඩි ලෙස ලේ ගලා ගොස් ඇති අතර, ඔහු මුලින් පස්සර රෝහලට ඇතුළත් කිරීමෙන් පසු වැඩිදුර ප්‍රතිකාර සඳහා බදුල්ල මහ රෝහලට මාරු කර යවා තිබේ. ගැටුමට සම්බන්ධ එක් සැරයන්වරයෙකු තවත් මාස හයකින් විශ්‍රාම යාමට නියමිතව සිටින අයෙකු වන අතර අනෙක් නිලධාරියා 58 වන වියේ පසුවන්නෙකි. ගැටුම අවස්ථාවේදී පොලිස් ස්ථානයේ සිටි සෙසු නිලධාරීන් මැදිහත් වී තත්ත්වය පාලනය කර ඇති අතර, පහර දුන් බව කියන අනෙක් සැරයන්වරයා සිද්ධියෙන් පසු පොලිස් ස්ථානයෙන් බැහැරව ගොස් ඇති බව ද වාර්තා වේ. මෙම විනය විරෝධී සිදුවීම සම්බන්ධයෙන් ඌව පළාත් භාර ජ්‍යෙෂ්ඨ නියෝජ්‍ය පොලිස්පති මහේෂ් සේනාරත්න මහතාගේ උපදෙස් පරිදි විශේෂ පරීක්ෂණයක් ආරම්භ කර ඇත. ඒ සඳහා සහකාර පොලිස් අධිකාරීවරයෙකු පත් කර ඇති අතර, ඔහු පස්සර පොලිස් ස්ථානයට ගොස් සිද්ධිය සම්බන්ධයෙන් මූලික විමර්ශන ආරම්භ කර තිබේ. Police Clash in Badulla Leaves One Officer Injured In a shocking incident at the Pasala Police Station in Badulla, a clash between two police officers has resulted in one sustaining injuries and requiring hospitalization. The altercation occurred on the 4th of this month, reportedly sparked by a heated argument that escalated significantly. Following the confrontation, one officer suffered a serious injury to his nose, leading to heavy bleeding. Initially admitted to the Pasala Hospital, he was later transferred to Badulla General Hospital for further treatment. One of the officers involved in the brawl is reportedly due for retirement in six months, while the other is 58 years old. During the incident, other officers present at the station intervened to control the situation. However, it has been reported that the officer accused of assault exited the police premises shortly after the incident. In response to this breach of conduct, a special investigation has been initiated under the direction of Senior Deputy Inspector General Mahesh Senarathna, who oversees the Uva Province.
