විපක්ෂය විසින් එල්ල කරනු ලබන පදනම් විරහිත විවේචන රජය සත පහකටවත් මායිම් නොකරන බවත්, රට පුරා පෙර නොවූ විරූ සංවර්‍ධන ව්‍යාපෘති රැසක් මේ වන විට ආරම්භ කර ඇති බවත් නියෝජ්‍ය අමාත්‍ය මහින්ද ජයසිංහ මහතා පවසයි. මාධ්‍ය වෙත අදහස් දක්වමින් නියෝජ්‍ය අමාත්‍යවරයා සඳහන් කළේ, 2022 වසරෙන් පසු මෙරට දේශපාලන සංස්කෘතිය සම්පූර්‍ණයෙන්ම වෙනස් වී තිබුණ ද, විපක්ෂය තවමත් පරණ සම්ප්‍රදායික රාමුවේම සිරවී සිටින බවයි. ජනතාව මෙවැනි පදනම් විරහිත දේශපාලන කතා මඟින් තවදුරටත් නොමඟ යැවිය නොහැකි බවත්, විපක්ෂය වහා යාවත්කාලීන විය යුතු බවත් හෙතෙම පෙන්වා දුන්නේය. පසුගිය පාලන සමයන්හිදී ඇනහිට තිබූ සියලු සංවර්‍ධන ව්‍යාපෘතීන් යළි පණගන්වා අවසන් කිරීමට වත්මන් ආණ්ඩුව පියවර ගෙන ඇති බවත්, මීට පෙර කිසිදු ආණ්ඩුවකට කරගත නොහැකි වූ දිවයින පුරා සූර්‍ය බලශක්ති බැටරි ගබඩා පද්ධති ස්ථාපනය කිරීමේ ව්‍යාපෘතිය සහ අධිවේගී මාර්‍ග ඇතුළු දැවැන්ත නව සංවර්‍ධන ව්‍යාපෘති රැසක් රට පුරා ක්‍රියාවට නංවා ඇති බවත් ඔහු පැවසීය. 2015 දී බලයට පත් ආණ්ඩු මෙන් නොව, වත්මන් ආණ්ඩුව නතර කර තිබූ සියලු වැඩ කඩිනමින් ආරම්භ කර ඇති බව ද ඔහු සිහිපත් කළේය. ආණ්ඩුව රට පාලනය කරන්නේ විපක්ෂයට අවශ්‍ය ආකාරයට නොවන බව අවධාරණය කළ නියෝජ්‍ය අමාත්‍යවරයා, ජනතාවගෙන් එල්ල වන ඕනෑම සාධනීය හා සාධාරණ විවේචනයක් නිහතමානීව පිළිගැනීමට රජය සැමවිටම සූදානම් බව ප්‍රකාශ කළේය. එහෙත් වත්මන් විපක්ෂය කරන්නේ සතියක් දෙකක් ජීවත්වීම සඳහා යම් මාතෘකාවක් අල්ලාගෙන බොරු මවාපාන “එදාවේල සංචාරක දේශපාලනයක්” පමණක් බවත්, ආණ්ඩුවට එරෙහිව එල්ල කිරීමට සැබෑ විවේචනයක් නොමැතිව ඔවුන් අසරණ වී සිටින බවත් මහින්ද ජයසිංහ මහතා වැඩිදුරටත් සඳහන් කළේය. He emphasized that unprecedented development initiatives are currently underway throughout the country. He underscored that the public cannot be misled by such unfounded political narratives, urging the opposition to modernize its approach. This includes a groundbreaking solar energy battery storage system and numerous other large-scale development projects across the nation, initiatives that previous governments had been unable to implement. He also reminded viewers that, unlike the government that came to power in 2015, the current administration has swiftly restarted all previously halted work. Jayasinghe clarified that the government's approach to governance is not dictated by the opposition's preferences. He reiterated the administration's readiness to accept any reasonable and fair criticism from the public with humility.
