The residents of Hatton have been grappling with significant difficulties due to a persistent shortage of Litro domestic gas over the past few days. On October 24, the Litro Gas Company released a limited number of gas cylinders to the local distributors in Hatton. These cylinders were distributed to consumers through token systems implemented by the sales representatives. In a bid to secure the much-needed gas, consumers have been waiting in queues from early morning until the gas trucks arrive, facing long hours of uncertainty and discomfort. - Ranjith Rajapaksha *Note: In case of any discrepancy between the Sinhala and English versions, the Sinhala version shall prevail.
