ව්‍යවස්ථා සංශෝධනයකට පමණක් නොව, විධායක ජනාධිපති ක්‍රමය අහෝසි කිරීම සඳහා ද ජාතික ජන බලවේගය රජයට ජනවරමක් තිබෙන බව ග්‍රාමීය සංවර්ධන, සමාජ ආරක්ෂණ හා ප්‍රජා සවිබලගැන්වීම් අමාත්‍ය ආචාර්ය උපාලි පන්නිල මහතා පවසයි. ඒ මහතා මේ බව සඳහන් කළේ අද (12) පෙරවරුවේ එම අමාත්‍යාංශ පරිශ්‍රයේදී මාධ්‍ය වෙත අදහස් දක්වමිනි. තවද, කිසිසේත්ම ජනමත විචාරණයකට යාමට හෝ රජයේ ධුර කාලය නීති විරෝධී ලෙස දීර්ඝ කර ගැනීමට රජයට අවශ්‍යතාවක් නොමැති බවත්, සියලු මැතිවරණ නියමිත කාලයට පවත්වන බවත් මාධ්‍යවේදීන් නැඟූ ප්‍රශ්නවලට පිළිතුරු ලබා දෙමින් අමාත්‍යවරයා අවධාරණය කළේය. එමෙන්ම, 2026 අයවැය ප්‍රතිපාදන යටතේ “ප්‍රජා ශක්ති” දිළිඳුකම තුරන් කිරීමේ වැඩසටහන සඳහා වෙන් කර ඇති රුපියල් මිලියන 25,000ක මුදලින් මේ වන විට සෑම ග්‍රාම නිලධාරී වසමකම අවම වශයෙන් එක් සංවර්ධන ව්‍යාපෘතියක් හෝ ක්‍රියාත්මක වන බවත්, රජයේ මූල්‍ය ප්‍රතිපාදන කාර්යක්ෂමව හා ඵලදායී ලෙස යොදවමින් ජනතාවගේ දිළිඳුකම තුරන් කිරීම සඳහා කටයුතු කරමින් සිටින බවත් ඒ මහතා සඳහන් කළේය. විශේෂයෙන්ම, පසුගිය කාලසීමාව තුළ රජය කලාපීය මෙන්ම අනෙකුත් රටවල් සහ ජාත්‍යන්තර ආයතන සමඟ සමීප සබඳතා පවත්වමින් ඉහළ විශ්වාසයක් දිනා ගැනීමට සමත්ව ඇති බවත්, ජාත්‍යන්තර මූල්‍ය අරමුදල සමඟ සහයෝගයෙන් කටයුතු කිරීම මෙන්ම ලෝක බැංකුව සහ ආසියානු සංවර්ධන බැංකුව වැනි ආයතන සමඟ සමීපව කටයුතු කිරීම තුළින් රට බංකොලොත්භාවයෙන් මුදා ගැනීමට හැකියාව ලැබුණු බවත් අමාත්‍ය උපාලි පන්නිල මහතා අවධාරණය කළේය.
