A woman has succumbed to her injuries following a shooting incident in the Ulhitiyawa area of Midhdeniya. She was rushed to the hospital but unfortunately did not survive. The police media unit revealed that the victim is the mother of a man known as 'Bako Saman', who is considered to be involved in organized crime. In response to the incident, Midhdeniya police have launched a comprehensive investigation aimed at apprehending the suspects related to the shooting. *Note: In case of any discrepancy between the Sinhala and English versions, the Sinhala version shall prevail.
