මෙරට තුළ අභ්‍යන්තර ගුවන් මෙහෙයුම් සිදුකරනු ලබන 'DP Aviation' සමාගම සිය ගුවන් සේවාවන් කලාපීය සහ ජාත්‍යන්තර මට්ටම දක්වා පුළුල් කිරීමට සූදානම් වන බව සිවිල් ගුවන් සේවා අධිකාරිය පවසයි. ගුවන් මෙහෙයුම් සහතිකයක් (AOC) සහිතව දැනට ක්‍රියාත්මක වන එම සමාගමේ මෙම නව ව්‍යාප්ති සැලසුම පිළිබඳ මූලික සාකච්ඡාවක් පසුගියදා සිවිල් ගුවන් සේවා අධිකාරියේ සභාපතිවරයා ඇතුළු නිලධාරීන්, සමාගමේ නියෝජිතයන් සහ ඊට එක්වීමට නියමිත ආයෝජකයන්ගේ සහභාගිත්වයෙන් පවත්වා තිබේ. මෙම ව්‍යාප්ති සැලැස්ම යටතේ කටුනායක බණ්ඩාරනායක ජාත්‍යන්තර ගුවන් තොටුපොළ කේන්ද්‍ර කරගනිමින් මෙහෙයුම් සිදුකිරීමට නියමිත අතර, කොළඹ සහ යාපනය අතර අභ්‍යන්තර ගුවන් ගමන් මෙන්ම ඉන්දියාවේ ප්‍රධාන ගමනාන්ත වෙත ගුවන් සේවා ආරම්භ කිරීම මූලික අදියරේදී අපේක්ෂා කෙරේ. ඉන් අනතුරුව එම මෙහෙයුම් දකුණු ආසියාව, අග්නිදිග ආසියාව සහ මැදපෙරදිග කලාපය දක්වා තවදුරටත් ව්‍යාප්ත කිරීමට සැලසුම් කර ඇත. අදාළ ගුවන් ගමන් සඳහා නවීනතම එයාර්‍බස් A220 මාදිලියේ ගුවන් යානා එක්කර ගැනීමට නියමිත අතර, 2030 වසර වන විට එම යානා සංඛ්‍යාව 10ක් දක්වා ඉහළ නැංවීම සමාගමේ අරමුණයි. මෙම දැවැන්ත ව්‍යාප්තියත් සමඟ මෙරට තුළ නව රැකියා අවස්ථා 400ක් පමණ උත්පාදනය වනු ඇතැයි ගණන් බලා තිබේ. කෙසේ වෙතත්, අදාළ සමාගමට ජාත්‍යන්තර ගුවන් මෙහෙයුම් ආරම්භ කිරීම සඳහා අවශ්‍ය නියාමන අනුමැතීන් සහ සිවිල් ගුවන් සේවා අධිකාරියේ ප්‍රමිතිගත ඇගයීම් ක්‍රියාවලිය සම්පූර්‍ණ කළ යුතුව ඇති බවද එම අධිකාරිය වැඩිදුරටත් සඳහන් කරයි. DP Aviation Announces Expansion Plans for Domestic and International Flight Services DP Aviation, a company engaging in domestic air operations in Sri Lanka, is gearing up to broaden its flight services to both regional and international levels, according to the Civil Aviation Authority. A preliminary discussion on this ambitious expansion plan was held recently, attended by officials from the authority, including the chairman, representatives from the company, and prospective investors. Under this expansion scheme, operations are set to be centered at Bandaranaike International Airport in Katunayake, with internal flights anticipated to connect Colombo and Jaffna. Additionally, the plan aims to initiate air services to key destinations in India during the initial phase. Subsequent expansions are envisioned to reach Southeast Asia, East Asia, and the Middle East. To facilitate these flight operations, the airline plans to acquire the latest Airbus A220 aircraft, with a target to increase the fleet to ten by the year 2030. This substantial expansion is expected to create approximately 400 new job opportunities within the country.
