ඉතිහාසයේ වැඩිම ජනවරමක් ලබා දෙමින් ජනතාව වත්මන් රජය පත් කළේ රට සංවර්ධනය කර ආර්ථිකය ගොඩනැගීමට බවත්, ඉදිරි වසර 20ක කාලය තුළ මෙම පාලනය අඛණ්ඩව පවතිනු ඇති බවත් නියෝජ්‍ය අමාත්‍ය රුවන් රණසිංහ මහතා පවසයි. වැඩිදුරටත් අදහස් දැක්වූ අමාත්‍යවරයා සඳහන් කළේ, පාර්ලිමේන්තුවේ ආසන 159ක අතිවිශාල බහුතරයක් ජනතාව ලබා දුන්නේ දූෂිත පාලන ක්‍රමය වෙනස් කිරීමට බවයි. ඒ අනුව අපරාධකරුවන්ට, දූෂිතයන්ට සහ වංචාකරුවන්ට තරාතිරම නොබලා දඬුවම් පැමිණවීමේ ක්‍රියාවලිය රජය විසින් මේ වන විටත් ආරම්භ කර ඇති බවත්, අධිකරණ පද්ධතිය මේ වන විට ස්වාධීනව ක්‍රියාත්මක වෙමින් පවතින බවත් ඔහු පෙන්වා දුන්නේය. රජයේ මෙම වැඩපිළිවෙළ හමුවේ විපක්ෂය දැඩි භීතියට පත්ව සිටින බවත්, එම බිය නිසාම ආණ්ඩුව පෙරළීමට ඔවුන් උත්සාහ කළ ද ඉදිරි වසර 20ක කාලය තුළ මෙම ආණ්ඩුව හැර වෙනත් පාලනයකට ඉඩක් නොමැති බවත් රණසිංහ මහතා අවධාරණය කළේය. මෙරට පැවති දූෂිත සහ බංකොලොත් දේශපාලන සංස්කෘතිය සදහටම නිමාවට පත්ව ඇති බව ද නියෝජ්‍ය අමාත්‍යවරයා වැඩිදුරටත් සඳහන් කළේය. Government Assures Continued Leadership for Economic Development The current government has garnered unprecedented public support, with Deputy Minister Ruwan Ranasinghe emphasizing that this mandate is vital for national development and economic progress. He assured that this administration will maintain its leadership for the next two decades. Speaking further, the Deputy Minister pointed out that the citizens have delivered a substantial majority in Parliament's 159 seats to alter the corrupt governance systems that have long plagued the nation. He noted that processes aimed at penalizing criminals, corrupt individuals, and fraudsters have already commenced, while highlighting that the judicial system is currently operating independently. According to Ranasinghe, the opposition is engulfed in fear due to the government’s initiatives, which has prompted desperate attempts to unseat the current administration. However, he robustly asserted that there will be no room for any alternative governance in the country throughout the upcoming 20 years.
