පලෙයි ප්‍රදේශයේ රජයේ රක්ෂිතයක අක්කර 49ක පමණ භූමි ප්‍රමාණයක් එළිපෙහෙළි කරමින් රහසිගත පුහුණු කඳවුරක් පවත්වාගෙන යන බවට සැකයක් පවතින බව අන්තර් මහාද්වීපික මානව හිමිකම් කොමිසම (IC Human Rights Commission) පවසයි. එම කොමිසමේ විධායක අධ්‍යක්ෂ සංගීත් ඩයස්සේකර මහතා බවසන්නේ මේ සම්බන්ධයෙන් ජනාධිපතිවරයා, ආරක්ෂක ලේකම්වරයා සහ මහජන ආරක්ෂක අමාත්‍යවරයා වෙත ලිඛිතව කරුණු ඉදිරිපත් කර ඇති බවය. පලෙයි ප්‍රදේශයේ අදාළ රක්ෂිතය තුළ කිසිදු රජයේ අනුමැතියකින් තොරව තෙමහල් ගොඩනැගිල්ලක් ඉදිකරමින් පවතින බවත්, එහි පුද්ගලයින් 100ත් 150ත් අතර පිරිසක් සේවය කරන බවත් ඔහු අනාවරණය කළේය. මෙය එල්.ටී.ටී.ඊ. පුහුණු කඳවුරක් හෝ බෝම්බ නිෂ්පාදනාගාරයක් ලෙස භාවිත කිරීමට සූදානම් වන්නේ ද යන්න පිළිබඳව ප්‍රදේශවාසීන් සහ නිලධාරීන් අතර දැඩි සැකයක් මතුව ඇති බව ද හෙතෙම පෙන්වා දුන්නේය. මෙම ව්‍යාපෘතිය පිටුපස රජයේ ඉහළ පෙළේ නිලධාරීන් පිරිසක් සිටින බවට තොරතුරු ලැබී ඇති බවත්, මෙය විදේශීය ආධාර මත ක්‍රියාත්මක වන ව්‍යාපෘතියක් බවට සැක කරන බවත් ඩයස්සේකර මහතා වැඩිදුරටත් සඳහන් කළේය. මේ සම්බන්ධයෙන් නීතිමය පියවර ගත් අඩවි වන නිලධාරියාට සහ ඔහුගේ බිරිඳට යම් කණ්ඩායමකින් මරණ තර්‍ජන එල්ල වී ඇති බවත්, ඔවුන්ගේ ආරක්ෂාව වෙනුවෙන් වහාම කුරුණෑගල ප්‍රදේශයට මාරු කර යවන ලෙසත් ඔහු බලධාරීන්ගෙන් ඉල්ලා සිටියේය. ජාතික ආරක්ෂාව තහවුරු කිරීම සඳහා මෙම ස්ථානය පිළිබඳව වහාම විධිමත් පරීක්ෂණයක් පවත්වන ලෙස ද ඔහු මෙහිදී අවධාරණය කළේය. Suspicion Grows Over Secret Training Camp in Palai The International Commission on Human Rights (ICHR) has raised concerns about a clandestine training camp operating within a government reserve in Palai, spanning approximately 49 acres. Executive Director Sangeeth Daisekara disclosed that he has formally presented these findings in writing to the President, the Secretary of Defence, and the Minister of Public Security. He revealed that a three-story building is currently under construction within the reserve without any government authorization, employing a workforce estimated to be between 100 to 150 individuals. Local residents and officials have expressed serious doubts regarding the purpose of the site, speculating whether it is intended to serve as an LTTE training camp or a bomb production facility. Further investigation has led Daisekara to suggest that the initiative is backed by high-ranking government officials and may be an operation funded by foreign aid. Concerns regarding the safety of an official involved in the legal proceedings, along with threats of death against him and his wife from an unidentified group, have prompted calls for their immediate relocation to the Kurunegala district for their protection.
