අවාරයේ ශ්‍රී පාදයේ සංචාරයක් සදහා පැමිණි පිරිසක් රැගත් මෝටර් රථයක් නල්ලතන්නිය මස්කෙළිය ප්‍රධාන මාර්‍ගයේ මාර්‍ගයෙන් ඉවතට පැන මෝහිණි ඇලට පෙරලීමෙන් අනතුරක් සිදු වී ඇති බව නල්ලතන්නි පොලිසියේ ස්ථානාධිපති ප්‍රධාන පොලිස් පරික්ෂක එන් . ඩී . නිරෝෂන් මහතා පැවසීය . වව්නියාව සහ කිලිනොච්චි ප්‍රදේශයේ පදිංචිකරුවන් පිරිසක් රාත්‍රී 11:00 ට පමණ නල්ලතන්නි පොලිසිය වෙත පැමිණ තමන්ට ශ්‍රී පාද සංචාරයක් සදහා යෑමට අවශය බව පවසා ඇති අතර , එහිදි පොලිස් නිළධාරින් එම පිරිස හමුවේ කියා ඇත්තේ පවතින අයහපත් කාලගුණයත් සමග රාත්‍රීයේ සංචාරය කිරිම සුදුසු නොවන නිසා ඒ සදහා (20) දින උදෑසන පැමි‍ෙණන ලෙසයි පොලිසියේ උපදෙස් පිලිගත් එම පිරිස නාවාතැනක් සොයා ගැනීම සදහාආපසු මෝටර් රථයෙන් යන අතරතුර (19) දින රාත්‍රී 12:00 ට පමණ මෝහිණි ඇල්ල ප්‍ර දේශයේදි මාර්‍ගයෙන් ලිස්සා ගොස් මාර්‍ගයෙන් ඉවතට පැන මෙම අනතුර සිදු වී ඇති බවයි ස්ථානාධිපතිවරයා කියා සිටියේ . මෝටර් රථය අනතුරට පත් වන අවස්ථාවේ එහි පිරිමි පුද්ගලයන් තිදෙනෙකු සහ කාන්තාවන් දෙදෙනෙකු සිටි බවත් , අනතුරින් ඔවුන් කිසිවෙකුටත් තුවාල සිදු වී නොමැති වුවත් අනතුරින් මෝටර් රථයට දැඩි අලාභ හානි සිදු වී ඇත . මේ අතර , එම ස්ථානයේම නල්ලතන්නිය සිට මස්කෙළිය දක්වා ධාවනය වූ මෝටර් රථයක් (22) දින උදෑසන 7.30 ට පමණ අනතුරට පත් විමෙන් එම ත්‍රී රෝද රථයේ ගමන් ගත් පාසල් සිසුවියක් ඇතුලු පිරිමි පුද්ගලයන් දෙදෙනෙකු ජීවිතක්ෂයට පත් විය . අනතුර පිලිබද නල්ලතන්නි පොලිසිය පරික්ෂණ පවත්වයි . Bus Accident Near Nallathanniya Leaves No Injuries, Investigated by Police A motor vehicle carrying a group en route to the Sri Pada pilgrimage met with an accident after veering off the main road at Nallathanniya, as confirmed by Officer-in-Charge, Chief Inspector Niroshan. Residents from the Vavuniya and Kilinochchi areas had contacted the Nallathanniya police around 11:00 PM, expressing their intention to journey to Sri Pada. However, police officers advised against travel due to inclement weather conditions that rendered nighttime travel unsafe. Following police guidance, the group was instructed to return the next morning instead. As they attempted to locate a suitable place to stay for the night, the vehicle they were traveling in lost control at approximately 12:00 AM, sliding off the road in the Mahinidela area, leading to the overturn incident. At the time of the accident, the vehicle carried three men and two women. Fortunately, none of the occupants sustained injuries; however, the vehicle suffered extensive damage. In a related incident earlier that morning, a vehicle operating on the same Nallathanniya to Maskeliya route was involved in a tragic collision, resulting in the deaths of two men and a schoolgirl.
